I want an interesting part.
My group has 4 people including me.
Each member has to memorize 15 lines.
Answer:
Plays are not going to break down into an equal number of lines for each actor just because you want them to for your class. You have to take the play as it's written. Some of you will have more lines and more to do than others. That's just the way it is.
You might be able to make portions of these scenes work for you:
Act 1 Scene 5, from when Tybalt sees Romeo to the part where R & J kiss(Tybalt, Capulet, Romeo, Juliet)
Act 3 Scene 1 after Romeo flees (Benvolio, Prince, Lady Capulet, Montague)
Act 3 Scene 5 after Capulet orders Juliet to marry Paris (Juliet, Nurse, Lady Capulet, Capulet)
All of Act 4 Scene 2 after the servant leaves (Capulet, Nurse, Juliet, Lady Capulet)
