Digging fence posts. Hit rock. What do I do now?
I have dug many 2ft holes with my gas powered earth auger. On 4 of these holes I hit solid rock at about 3 inches. A pick axe and digging bar do little to break up the rock.
What are my alternatives?
Answer:
use a 5 ft. spud bar to find the edge of the rock and pry it out....
