You are probably fairly familiar with the basic science behind sunglasses. They filter out harmful light rays and take care of Your eyes by filtering intense light. The sun creates ultraviolet light rays which contribute to the heat it produces. These rays, called UVA and UVB can cause irreparable damage to your retina and corneas.
